We’re writing to share some fantastic news about a major upgrade we’re making at North Harbour Gymnastics. We’re getting ready to launch a brand-new membership management system, and we wanted to give you a sneak peek at how it will make your life easier and your child’s gymnastics journey even better.
Our current system has served us well, but let’s be honest, it’s getting a bit creaky! It relies heavily on manual work, which can be time-consuming and sometimes lead to human error. We know that its limited features, like the basic member profiles and tricky re-enrolment process each term, haven’t always been the smoothest experience for you.
We’ve also heard your feedback loud and clear on a few key areas:
- The financial strain of paying for a full term’s fees upfront.
- The hassle of re-enrolling every term and worrying about losing a spot.
- The long notice period for withdrawing from a class.
- The challenge of tracking progress for our recreational gymnasts.
- The frustrating process for booking make-up classes.
- Important emails getting lost in the dreaded spam folder.
We knew we could do better. So, next year, we are making a big change for the better!
Introducing Your New & Improved NHG Experience!
Starting in 2026, we are moving to a world-class, gymnastics-specific membership system. This isn’t just an update; it’s a complete transformation designed with you in mind.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
- A Handy Mobile App: You’ll have a unique member portal accessible right from your phone! You’ll be able to book classes, notify us of an absence, and schedule make-up sessions online with just a few taps.
- Track Your Star’s Progress: The new app will feature skill evaluations, so you can see your gymnast’s progress and celebrate their successes in real-time.
- No More Re-Enrolment Scramble: Our classes will run continuously throughout the year (with a two-week break over Christmas and New Year). This means more practice time, faster skill progression, and no more stress about securing your spot each term.
- Easier on the Wallet: We are moving away from upfront term fees to a simple, automatic monthly billing system. This will help spread the cost and ease the financial pressure.
- Greater Flexibility: The notice period for withdrawing from a class will be reduced to just one month, giving your family more flexibility when life happens.
- Stay in the Loop: We’ll be able to send instant alerts, reminders, and updates via the app, text, or email, so you’ll never miss important information again.
This new system is purpose-built by a gymnast and is trusted by clubs worldwide. It’s designed to grow with us and will allow our team to spend less time on admin and more time doing what we love—coaching!
